IP (or “Ingress Protection”) ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt, etc.) and moisture.
We design and manufacture IP65 to 67 rated waterproof batteries for powering devices in harsh environments where a waterproof power source is required. Our long standing relationship with manufacturers of outdoor devices pushed us to increase our knowledge. We offer rechargeable and non-rechargeable options to cover all types of applications. These batteries can be manufactured with primary Lithium, Lithium-Ion, Lithium Iron Phosphate, Alkaline, Lead Acid or Lead Crystal cells.
In order to achieve waterproof to IP65 to 67 rating, we can use several types of protection. Whether the battery pack is encapsulated and potted with resin or is embedded in a Peli case, a metal case or in a bespoke thermoformed ABS enclosure, we can support your project.
